Camping parmi les vignes de Saumur

Camping amidst the vineyards of Anjou and Saumur

The Isle Verte campsite in Montsoreau, near Saumur, is the ideal destination for wine lovers. Situated in the village of Montsoreau, on the banks of the Loire, it is within walking distance of several vineyards where you can sample Saumur-Champigny wines. Opposite the campsite, the Domaine de la Perruche invites you to savour Saumur’s white and red wines in its cave-dwelling cellar, carved into the hillside. If you wish, the campsite can even organise a boat trip for you to the confluence of the Loire and the Vienne, accompanied by a winegrower who will offer you a tasting of his wines during the trip. Wine tastings take place several times a week at the campsite. To help you with your visits, L’Isle Verte has created a Loire wine passport for you, guiding you through 14 estates carefully selected by Clément, your host, whose wines you’ll find on the menu at the campsite’s restaurant and wine bar.

Le Pont de Bourgogne Campsite in the Côte Chalonnaise vineyard

The Pont de Bourgogne campsite in Chalon-sur-Saône, in southern Burgundy, is situated in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, a wine-growing region renowned for its white and red wines, including those from Mercurey, Givry and Montagny. You can choose to sample these wines in one of Chalon’s restaurants or directly at the estates of the Côte Chalonnaise. At the campsite reception, Mathieu will be happy to recommend the best places to visit around Chalon-sur-Saône. Just 20 minutes from the campsite, you can also visit Beaune, the capital of Burgundy wines. The Côte de Beaune is particularly renowned for its great white wines with legendary names: Meursault, Montrachet, etc. You’ll find bottles of Burgundy wine for sale at the campsite reception.

A campsite in the heart of the Beaujolais vineyards

La Grappe Fleurie campsite is nestled amongst the vineyards of the village of Fleurie, in the Beaujolais region. From the campsite, you’ll have the chance to explore the wines of the Beaujolais. The campsite offers a range of services to help you discover this wine-growing region. The campsite has a shuttle service which, on request, can take you to the winemaker of your choice so you can taste their wines without worrying about driving back. Join Stéphane, the campsite owner, as you hop aboard a vintage VW campervan for a wine-tasting tour of the vineyards. In the evening, tastings organised by the Fleurie winegrowers take place at the campsite. The campsite also has a wine bar where you can enjoy the 10 Beaujolais wines in peace and quiet.

The C’est si Bon campsites are located in some of France’s most beautiful wine-growing regions, in Burgundy, the Beaujolais or the Saumur-Champigny vineyards. Campsites in these regions, such as La Grappe Fleurie in Beaujolais or L’Isle Verte in the Saumur vineyards, organise dedicated programmes for wine lovers, featuring tastings held on site or at the winery, as well as vineyard tours. Both campsites also have a wine bar offering a wide selection of local wines.

Yes. At the Isle Verte campsite in Montsoreau, you can walk to the Domaine de la Perruche, which is located opposite the campsite, and to the tasting rooms of the Domaines des Nerleux and Arnaud Lambert in the village. At the La Grappe Fleurie campsite, a shuttle bus can take you, on request, to the winemakers’ estates for a relaxed tasting experience.

The Isle Verte campsite has developed an app focusing on the vineyards of Saumur-Champigny. It features information on the estates featured on the campsite’s wine bar menu. The Grappe Fleurie campsite has also created an app packed with information on the Beaujolais region, including interviews with winemakers, estate tours and more.
